This is a classic Toronto beach house, attached on both sides to very friendly quiet neighbors. Although it is a brick construction, sound does travel through the walls as you can imagine, and therefore I ask my guests to please be mindful and keep the music and TV low, particularly in the evening.
Absolutely no smoking please. It gets into the carpets, bedding, and furniture. And please, no parties. I love my neighbours, as you will too. No pets, sorry. Emergency number is (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN), my friend down the street, Jan Hadfield who can help with questions in a pinch.
I am a documentary filmmaker, who's travelled the world and enjoys meeting people from all over the globe. I am currently producing a feature length film about my Russian mother who was a Red Army soldier captured by the Nazis during World War Two. I love jazz, opera, walks on the boardwalk, and reading big fat weighty historical biographies or tomes. My favourite writers these days are Sebastian Faulkes and Leo Tolstoy. I respect privacy, encourage guests to get to know the features of the neighborhood, and can recommend the best regional theatres, restaurants, or bike paths upon request!
