Spacious airy 2-bedroom apartment in Camberwell. Has excellent connections to most parts of central London by bus and tube and bike. Lovely park 50 yards away.
One large bright and airy bedroom with a double bed. It has a big comfy armchair and a desk. Limited wardrobe and drawer space available.
One medium bedroom with a double bed and plenty of wardrobe and drawer storage.
Both bedrooms come with a view of train tracks and beyond them some lovely back gardens - a very city view with great sunsets. Double-glazing windows mean you can hardly hear the trains as they pass - though if you enjoy the sound, just open the window and they'll blast in!
Towels and bed linen all provided. If you need anything else during your stay let me know and I will try and accommodate it.
There's a large open plan kitchen and sitting room which catches the sun in the morning. The kitchen is fully equipped and guests can use contiments - oil, salt and pepper, herbs and spices, butter and so on. There's also a cupboard and some fridge space. The sitting room has a TV, plenty of books you can borrow, and the flat has fibre broadband.
There is a large bathroom in the flat which guests will share with me. It has a shower and a bath and shampoo/conditioner can be provided if needed.
If I am not around to meet you in person Jane - a neighbour who is a fantastic airbnb host - will be on hand to let you into the flat.
From Dublin, I have been living in London for over six years and absolutely love this city as well as knowing my way around pretty well. I am happy to correspond and answer any questions about travel, public transport, good places to visit. I can also recommend some good places to eat and drink in in the area or around London.
The bedrooms overlook a train track. Double-glazing windows mean you can hardly hear the trains as they pass – and in fact some people like the sound of trains passing by! But if you are a light sleeper who likes to have windows open you might consider looking elsewhere.
I would ask that guests wash up after themselves and keep the bathroom tidy.
While I can provide sheets and towels, I would ask that longer-term guests would launder them themselves (there is a washing machine in the flat) - although I will look after this when you leave - and also if you are a shorter-term guest.
On leaving I'd ask that you leave the bedroom tidy.
