The Old School Master's Rooms is a top floor apartment situated in a large Georgian Townhouse formerly the School Master's House for Clitheroe Grammar School. Built in 1805 the property is located in the Market Town of Clitheroe.
The apartment is situated on the top floor of our Georgian Town house. Originally used in the 1800's by the Head Master of the local grammar School to house students, the property has been given a sympathetic period renovation. The rental accommodation comprises of a 38ft lounge furnished with antique furniture and Jane Churchill Sofa and chair. There is a wood burning stove for a cosy fire. The double bedroom has a Queen size bed as well as a further sofa and chair and an Edwardian ladies writing bureau. Guests have their own small private bathroom with sink, toilet and rolled top bath.
Guests have the whole top floor of the house and have their own privacy.
Guests are allowed total privacy.
We do have three cats. Edgar, Hector and Ralph. All are happy to meet with guests and are extremely nosey. If you are allergic to cats or dislike them this will not be the accommodation for you.
Please note: The accomodation is situated on the top floor of a period property and is therefore not ideal for people who struggle with climbing stairs.
