Come, enjoy a private room & bath in a centrally located home in Annapolis. ..the sailing capital of the United States - at least we say so! :)
Located near Navy Stadium & about 1 mile (or a 5-10 min walk to trolley) to Historic downtown Annapolis.
You can rent a private room or the whole house if that better suits your needs. (See Listing for whole house.)
The house has 3-4 bedrooms and 2-3 full baths. Three bedrooms are located upstairs with 2 full baths. (The additional bedroom & bathroom on the main level is generally not open to the public but if you need it, please let me know and we can discuss options.)
PrvtRm1 (this listing) is the Master with a large, renovated bathroom.
PrvtRm2 is a bedroom with an attached sitting room (with twin beds) and a small older bath that is in need of renovation but functions just fine. If the adjoining room will be used as a separate bedroom for sleeping, please let me know for additional pricing. So this room can be either a 1 bedroom, 1 private bath -OR- two bedroom, 1 private bath.
The main level has a good size enclosed front porch, living room, dining room, and full kitchen. The laundry/mudroom is off the kitchen and from there you have access to a large deck and shared fenced-in yard. See pictures.
Guest will have access to any room in the house with the exception of any bedroom or bathroom that the guest has not booked. The small bedroom/bathroom on the main level is not available to the guests unless otherwise discussed with the owner.
NOTE: I live in the house when the whole house isn't rented so my things will be in the house and in closets, refrigerator/freezer, pantry, etc.
If I am there, (which won't always be the case since I may be traveling), I am open to the amount of communication that meets your needs and desires. I love meeting new people and helping them enjoy both the home and the area.
I live there so my things are in the house and I am in process of cleaning out closets so there are things in the house and fridge. It's not like going into VROB places where no one lives except short term renters. Also, the house has a basement apartment (no access from inside the house) and that person has 2 small to medium dogs. They are very friendly to people but need time to get used to other dogs. So far there hasn't been an issue when people have brought their dogs to stay in the house. Note: As the last statement indicates, there are sometimes dogs in this space. It's rare that guests bring pets but if you have a bad allergy, you will want to consider this.
1. This is a single family home in a family neighborhood so I expect that guests will be considerate of this fact and not have loud parties till the wee hours of the night!
2. No smoking in the house
I am an optimistic, easy going, kind, creative, open-minded, flexible, and independent woman (how’s that for a string of adjectives!) who is very comfortable with herself and happiest when laughing with others. I love entertaining, cooking, sailing, tennis, and dancing.
I own my own business but don’t ask me what it is that I do exactly. The business is comprised of an eclectic group of activities, any one of which I may be working on at any given time. Currently, I make most of the money that I need to live on a daily basis with rental property.
I also love traveling (particularly to sun and water destinations) so perhaps I will see you at your place someday!
