Our stay in your condo went flawlessly. From leaving our car with the free valet, to picking up the keys from security all went well. Figuring out the elevator took me about 10 seconds but that was the most confusing thing about the entire trip. The condo was quite comfortable especially the balcony with it's direct view of the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. I woke up every morning to catch the sunrise which was spectacular every day except our last morning due to heavy cloud cover. 6 out of 7 ain't too bad! Getting around town was very easy too. Most of the time we drove but sometimes we would Uber down to South Beach. Publix is about 1 mile north but watch out for the crazy drivers in the parking lot. LOL Drove up to Haulover Beach one day expecting to see a bunch of naked old people but thankfully there were none to be found. :) Pretty decent sushi restaurant about 1 block south, Hoshi & Sushi. Joe's Stone Crab for dinner one evening was nice. Had Stone Crabs and Key Lime Pie but they do not offer Armand's Salad anymore. Bummer, will go home and make my own! Would I stay here again? Absolutely!!!!
Fabulous Ocean View and Easy Access to Miami Beach Sunbathing This studio exceed our expectations as far as ocean vistas and easy beach access went. If you are looking for a mostly beach getaway this is an excellent location. The Host provided us with comfortable canvas beach chairs and a great, easy to maneuver beach umbrella. The location, if you want nightly dining out, was more difficult. The Valet only parking was, on occasion, frustrating as the building is shared with a hotel. Certain times of day required up to 1/2 hour wait for your car to arrive. We found at least 3 great restaurants within walking distance. Plus wine, cheese and crackers on the terrace on occasion was fine too! The traffic, going South, in Miami Beach was crazy. Across the street was a L or S bus which for $2.25 (exact bill and change) we got downtown to Lincoln Road and South Beach easily. On the lower level of the building were shops, a spa and pool and beach access. Alex, a wonderful lady, who also works as a travel agent was available for us and any concerns we had. Contacting the hosts was rare but they would respond to email later in the day. The room accommodations were fine but not luxury. Be aware you are not provided with maid service so sweeping and mopping a sandy marble floor is up to you! Overall we were Quite satisfied with the escape from real winter!!!!
I had a pleasant time at Cely and Luis' condo. The Kitchen area was much smaller than I expected (no oven), but the electric cooker worked well and it was enough for me to cook small meals when I was not going out. I did not open the cabinet door for the first two days since it was stuck and I thought I was not supposed to open. But later I found that I could open and found coffee cups, etc. I liked the thick sunblock curtain because I need the room to be completely dark to get a good night sleep. Overall, I had a wonderful time there. Owners responded to my questions very promptly. Thank you, Cely and Luis!
