Perfectly charming, quaint room in our South Boston condo. It fits one person comfortably. Located close to bus route going to BCEC or downtown!
This room is about 8x9ft, so quaint and has a twin bed, so it is perfect for one person. The bed is great for average sized people, not necessarily people 6' tall and over. We are on the first floor of three-family condo, so be prepared for occasional noises emanating from the upstairs neighbors.
But we are in a great place, as we are located a couple of blocks from the bus stop, or a 30-35 minute walk to the BCEC/Seaport District, and we are also two blocks from the beach.
We hope to provide a decent space for not too much money compared to others in the area.
We often have fruit, cookies, and tea which we offer to all guests.
We get a high volume of people so early check-ins are not possible, as we need time to air out and prepare rooms for check-in. If you need to leave stuff before that, please let me know, and we can try to arrange something.
We recently moved to a suburb but my brother-in-law is still renting a room, so you may see him around on occasion, but please if you need anything, contact me. He is not a co-host, so he is not really there to be asked Airbnb-related questions. We also have one other Airbnb listing, so you may see another guest (or two) during your stay. I am best reached through the Airbnb app, text, or Whats app.
-Note that the bathroom is shared with up to one other Airbnb guest and my brother-in-law. If this is a problem, I suggest booking elsewhere.
-Note that there will absolutely no early check-ins before 11am.
-Please note there is no on-street parking for non-residents!!! Cars parked overnight without resident stickers risk getting ticketed and possibly towed. There is garage parking at Channel Center Garage for a reasonable rate (about $15-25 a night, depending on when you book). There are other garages in the area that may cost more money, but sites like SpotHero or ParkMe can help.
As noted above, we recently moved to a suburb but my brother-in-law is still renting a room, but he is not an Airbnb host, so please contact me with any Airbnb-related questions or concerns. I am best reached through the Airbnb app, text message, (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), or phone call. We also have one other Airbnb room, so you may see another guest during your stay.
No smoking inside. Please go in our backyard if you need to smoke.
No shoes inside
No cooking. You may use the microwave to heat up food but no use of the gas oven range please.
Not a rule per se, but please know that parking is a challenge. I mentioned this in the listing that I recommend garage parking if you are coming by car. If that's an issue, this may not be the ideal place for you.
My name is Monique and I love living in Boston by the sea, after having grown up in Arizona! My place is literally two blocks away. I live with my husband and 2.5 children in a Boston suburb. We enjoy going out bicycling, walking, going to museums, events, out to eat, etc. I always enjoy good music or a good movie and some good chatting about anything at all. As for traveling, it is definitely something I enjoy and would love to take a trip within the next year to Europe and to Mexico.
Either way, I'm looking to host people in a budget-friendly, comfortable environment for weary travelers. We're easily accessible by the bus line, which connects you directly to town center. I am available for questions or suggestions through Airbnb app or text. Our place is very conveniently located to the beach and not too far from Seaport District/BCEC.
Please don't hesitate me to ask anything I haven't answered on here.
