Our co-housing community welcomes you and you may interact with others as much or as little as you choose. We offer you this opportunity to check out the co-housing model of community. Our buildings are of interest with modern design and lovely landscaping. We own our homes and share common space, most notably the Common House and the outdoor grounds. We also govern ourselves. The co-housing concept comes from Denmark and there are numerous communities now in the United States.
Boulder is a university town at the foot of the Front Range of the Rockies with great atmosphere and energy. There are wonderful restaurants all around town. It's fun to walk up and down the Pearl St. Mall with it's many shops, eateries and good people watching. You can enjoy a picnic on the grounds of Chautauqua and, in the summer, enjoy a Colorado Music Festival concert. At Chautauqua Park there are also many lovely hiking trails.
There are also many types of jazz venues around town for evening activities. And several museums
Farther away, in winter, skiing at Eldora Mountain is 35 minutes by car or public bus. Nederland, an old mountain town, is also reached by car or bus in 30 minutes.
The North Boulder Recreation Center is 5 minutes away by bus or car. It is possible to buy a day pass to enjoy its facilities.

My husband, Jere, and I are a retired couple who have moved from Boston to Boulder. We had been interested in cohousing for some time and decided to live in this intentional community. Ours is a Senior Cohousing Community, one of three in the USA. The main cohousing model is multi-generational.
We enjoy the outdoors, especially hiking and biking which are truly special here in Boulder. We also love and enjoy the easy access to many musical events presented at Colorado University and the cultural movies at the Boedecker Theater in the Dairy Center, only 10 minutes from our home.
For the past two years, Jere and I have walked about 450 - 500 miles along the Camino de Santiago: the first time in France and the second in Spain. For many years we have hiked from hut to hut in the Austrian alps.
We hope that you will enjoy your visit to this wonderful town and have as much fun here as we do!.
