We enjoyed greatly our time in Veneto staying in Maria Anglela and her husband's place. They are very thoughtful, caring and interesting to talk with people. The room was decent size, has high ceiling and, among all, a table to have a continental breakfast (provided by host) and - very important for us - an electric kettle! So you can have a cup of tea or instant coffee any time you like! The small fridge in the corridor is stacked with water/juice/yogurts/some fruits. The bathroom is shared with guests in other room, if they are on premises (plan for it, if you have morning train). The location is not in downtown, but is very close to a train station Verona Porta Vescovo and we explored Padua, Vicenza and - O! - Venice riding a local RV train: 10-12 minutes walk from the house, very convenient (buy tickets in the station buffet, if you have trouble with the automate). The main train station Verona Porta Nuova is possible to walk to (40 minutes) or ride a bus 11, 12 or 13 (around 10 minutes). Next door is a post office, then a big grocery store (closes at 8pm). The atmosphere is very homey in Maria Angela's place, we for sure will come back, if being visiting Verona again!
