This roomy stone cottage with log buring stove comfortably sleeps 5/6 in 3 bedrooms. Set in a beautiful village, cosy country pub 2 minutes walk, 2 miles from historic BerwickUponTweed and numerous fabulous beaches, golf clubs, fishing & climbing.
This 17th century barn was converted into 3 cottages by our great, great grandfather in the late 1800s and our cottage has been in our family for 7 generations.
It has many traditional features and has been sympathetically modernised and restored with great attention to detail to create a beautiful, comfortable holiday retreat of a very high standard, with all the expected modern facilities.

Absolutely no so smoking inside the house. You can nip out to the garden if you need to smoke, but please don’t drop cigarette butts in the garden. There is a small pot provided for these, which needs to be emptied into the bin at the end of your stay. An additional cleaning fee of at least £150 will be charged if the house smells of cigarette smoke.
Please respect the house as if it were your own and leave it clean and tidy with used dishes washed, garbage emptied, and bed's stripped of all used sheets and linen (the large bin in the front garden is for household waste). If you leave the house really messy I will charge an extra cleaning fee of at least £100.
Ord is a safe village, but please look after your keys and lock the door and windows when you go out. I am not responsible and do not provide insurance for your personal possessions so please look after them. If you lose keys you will be charged at least £60 for a replacement set.
Things break and get damaged, it’s a fact of life, I understand these things, so please tell me before you leave or straight after so we can sort it out between us. However, any non-accidental damage will be charged for.
Please consider the environment and switch off heating and lights before you go out.
