8 minutes from central station, 15min walk (7min Bike) from the city canals, lies our in 2011 totally renovated house. Floor heating, nice open kitchen, spacious living area, sleeps 2 easy, and a sunny garden. A lovely Bangle cat keeps you company!
Just outside the city canals of Utrecht, you find our in 2011 totally renovated house. A Dutch house from 1913, but adjusted to everything you need in 2014. 5 minutes from the central station, 15 minutes walk from the city centre. With 2
Our house was build in 1913, but we renovated it in 2011. The spacious living area includes an open kitchen with lots of light from outside because of the glass windows. Sit at the bar and enjoy your breakfast or diner!
Our house easily fits 2 or 3 people because of the two upstairs rooms. Floor heating makes the house feel cosy and warm all the time.
You will have the whole house to yourself! Use of everything but our private stuff like clothes, make-up, hair products, etc.
We will not be present during your stay. We will have somebody come by to hand over the key and make sure you know everything you need to know about the house before hand.
The neighborhood is from the early 1930, but our house is from 1913. The typical Dutch houses are small, but cosy. Bikes everywhere and kids playing in the streets. Do take our bikes for a ride into the city town (10 minutes) and explore Utrecht by bike!
Our house is just 5 minutes from the train station from where you get within a 30 minutes train ride right to the centre of Amsterdam! The airport is just 45 minutes away. Utrecht is near everything in The Netherlands because of it's centered location in the country.
We keep the rate to our hose low because we have a Bengal cat who needs care while we are away. We only accept guests who want to take care of our cat while staying in our house. Oakley needs food twice a day, and loves to play. But if you want to travel in The Netherlands and stay overnight somewhere else, Tinha's mom, who lives near, will come over and take care of the cat. We are flexible with that!
The full house can be used by guests, we only offer the house when we are not there. We do have a Bengal cat who needs to be taken care of. He is very friendly, playful and sweet! People type him More as a Dog than a Cat :-)
We hope to get visitors who like animals and want to take care of our cat while staying in our house. Oakley is very important to us and he loves attention. But we are also flexible, if you want to stay in another city for a couple days during your stay in Holland, we can ask someone to take over caring for the cat for those days. So you are not bound to the house all the time!
We don't allow smoking in our house. Otherwise we don't have rules, just expect our guest to treat our house with respect like you would treat your own house. Pets are not allowed because we already have a cat.
We will not be present during your stay. But there will be contact with the mother of Tinha, she lives near by and will make you feel welcome and hand over the keys.
We, Tinha, Paul and our in April 2017 born daughter Kyra, live in Utrecht in the Netherlands in a nice cosey dutch house from 1913. We completely renovated it in 2011 and now have lots of time to enjoy it and do some travelling again. We have a Bengal cat who is very sweet and likes to play a lot!
We both have family in the States and in Brazil, but like to see new countries as well.
Tinha is an marketing/event Manager for fundraising events for NGO's. Paul is a Retail Coordinator.
We're always open for other cultures and want to see what the world consists of.
We are the kind who like to soak up the area and enjoy the beauty of the nature. Since we both work with a lot of people and talking, we don't care for party's or loud environments. Though a good wine or beer in a bar or on our terrace and a relaxed chat are great, especially with our friends.
We also like to be very active by mountain biking, sightseeing, running, cityhopping but also relaxing on the beach!
We hope to have fun where ever we go.;-)
