I am very happily married to my husband Rich, we both enjoy traveling and exploring the United States. We love the Beach so we bought a condo in Cape Canaveral to enjoy that, but we also love the Mountains. So in the last few years we looked all over the USA to find a get-a-way and fell in love with the Smoky Mountains during our travels, which led us to Pigeon Forge.
We fell hook line and sinker with the area and last year bought our dream a real Log Cabin in Pigeon Forge. From then on we decided to stay at "Appalachian Dreams" during the Winter month when the season slows down and rent it out during the rest of the Season. We both love to explore the local restaurants and enjoy the feats they offer around here. The mountains were the biggest lure to come here, we love hiking, exploring and photography. I love to paint what I saw in the camera, so there is a collection of paintings in the cabin.
Rich loves to work out and biking, but found that there are not so many trails around here to allow bikes. Also love to shop local artisans and finding treasures to decorate our home with. What so nice to be here in the winter that we get a few snows and the crisp cool air, the warm glow of the fireplace. Then Spring comes pretty early and everything starts to change and bloom. Rich works from Home so fortunately we are able to live in two home. Since buying our cabin we also used our other passion and that is re-habing the cabin, that was decorated in a Florida theme (?). So we have been doing that every time we are here. Be glad to furnish some pictures of before and after ;)
