With superb sea and valley views, this thatch-roof, eco-style home on the peninsula borders the national park, and is under 10 mins to the best beaches. Great rate; perfect location on the peninsula for a holiday of sun, ocean & sand.
The house is truly special, with great views and a relaxing, spacious, natural atmosphere. Designed by renowned eco-architect Keith Struthers along anthroposophic lines. Many beaches nearby, like the safe Fish Hoek (great for young kids) as well as the beautiful Boulders (with its African penguins). Stunningly scenic beach and mountain walks abound, you're close to the tip of the peninsula where the two oceans meet, and there are also lots of glorious tidal pools.
The usual mod cons, including free high-speed wifi (uncapped), a few satellite and terrestrial channels, loads of movies and book library, an indoor fireplace and outdoor portable barbecue, safe off-street parking, and collected spring water. Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and outdoor washing line.
I will give you a good idea of where to go and what not to miss. I am also on call any time you need, as I live in a separate garden cottage on the property so am available to give advice or help any time (while completely respecting your privacy). If there are any 'household' problems, I'm on it. You'll never be left wanting or wondering.
The property borders the Table Mountain national Park, so one feels close to nature. Also: the rate should be higher, comparatively speaking, but I like guests to feel they're getting a good deal.
