Stone Cottage was built in 1910 by the Stone and le Roux families and was one of the first holiday homes in Plettenberg Bay. They built it for the magical Plett Summer months, when they trekked with their ox wagons, bringing turkeys, fruit, vegetables and ostrich eggs from their farm in Uniondale. Passionately restored, this historic guest house still remains in the family today.
Steeped in history, resting on a hill overlooking Plettenberg Bay’s beautiful beaches, from the Outeniqua mountains to the Robberg peninsula, Stone Cottage has stood watching over time and tide for over a century.
Our romantic and intimate Hilda is one of four unique suites at Stone Cottage.
