Enjoy a relaxing stay in a private bedroom with attached full bath. Bedroom has queen sized bed, desk, dresser, television with Netflix, and closet with hangers. Access to the entire kitchen with gas stove. Wi-Fi also available. Eight minute walk from Hopkins Hospital.
This spacious bedroom is on the second story of a recently remodeled Baltimore row home. The the bedroom offers carpeting, a comfortable queen-sized bed, a desk, a dresser, and a television with Netflix. The private bathroom attached to the bedroom has a bathtub for those who enjoy the luxury of a bath. The first floor of the home features a brick accent wall and hardwood floors in the living and dining areas. There's a nice, comfortable sectional sofa and chair for relaxing and lounging, and there is a DVD and Blu-Ray player as well. The dining area holds a table that seats six comfortably. The kitchen holds all the essentials for cooking and baking. The house is located just blocks from Patterson Park, a great place to walk around and enjoy in nice weather. There is also very convenient access to Johns Hopkins Hospital and Schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health. Fells Point, a popular night-time hang out, is just over a mile away, as is Canton (another popular hang out). There is easy access to Fells Point via the Charm City Circulator, a free public bus that picks up passengers a few blocks from the house. The Circulator can also get you to the Inner Harbor and downtown areas, providing many options for fun and entertainment during your stay.
You will have access to the entire first floor of the home, with kitchen, half bathroom, dining area, and living area. You will also have access to a private bedroom and attached bathroom on the second floor. Additionally, there are laundry facilities in the basement that can be accessed as long as you set up a time with me (you have to walk through someone's bedroom to get there).
We like to meet people and talk, but we also are often at work and very busy. We are very flexible with how much interaction will occur. If you want to hang out and chat, we'll be up for that. But if you'd rather have some alone time, we can do that, too.
There is a cat that lives in the house, Houdini. The cat roams the first floor of the house, but is not allowed in the bedrooms.
We provide towels, linens, toiletries (toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash), and a basic breakfast. We have coffee, tea, cereal, eggs, and toast/bread (for stays longer than one week, we can provide specific cereal or bread type if you would like).
We show respect to our guests and expect the same from them. There is no smoking in the house, but you can smoke just outside if you like. We like to keep quiet hours between midnight and 5 a.m. on week days and between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. on weekends.
Hi there, I'm Rebecca! I currently own a home in Baltimore, MD where my boyfriend, Jakob, and his cat live. I split time between Baltimore and Florida, but Jakob is in Baltimore full-time. I am a PhD student at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, while Jakob is an intake clinician at a mental health service provider. We like to meet new people and make new friends and look forward to meeting you!
