When I arrived at the apartment, there was fresh fruit on the dining room table, as well as water and soda in the fridge. The place was spotless, except for a couple of minor details in the bathroom, the cleaning person seemed to have missed. The apartment is beautiful, the building has one parking space, 24-hour security and is located in the best area in Bogota. The neighborhood is gorgeous, and very safe. There is a supermarket within three blocks, and if you are willing to walk 20 minutes, you will find some of the best restaurants, bars and shopping Bogota has to offer. Otherwise, hop on a cab or call an Uber (the same app you use in the States) and you'll be there in 10 minutes (traffic in Bogota can be tough). Alejandro, the owner, is very nice, helpful and friendly. A few minuses that I'd mention are: 1. There is no washer/dryer in the apartment, and while there is a lady who will do your laundry for a very reasonable amount in a matter of hours, make sure you request the service during the workweek, as there is no laundry service during the weekend (washing machines are on the top floor of the building and neighbors won't allow use on the weekends due to noise). 2. Morning traffic tends to be heavy on the street the apartment is located, so unless you are an early riser, make sure you bring a pair of earplugs. 3. If you like very hot water and loads of pressure in the shower, lower your expectations. While the water is reasonably hot all day, it isn't really hot. The water pressure isn't much to write home about either. Aside from those three minor things, my experience staying at the apartment was stellar.
