In 1950, this house was built with wood from Yoshino by my grandparents. Several areas have been renovated, but the transom and alcove are in their original form. It is a modest house, but there are a lot of good points about old houses in Japan.
There may be a slight inconvenience, but please relax with the intention that you've come to "Grandma's house. "
I have been living in Nara for 14 years, but it is only in the last few years that I have started to enjoy the world heritage of Nara as it was "too near."Combining my hobby of running, I enjoy going to Horyuji Temple, Nara Park, and Asuka village on my holidays, feeling the history and enjoying the changing seasons.
My family lives about a 15-minute walk from the house.
Even though I work during the day, it is my hope that guests from all over the world will come and stay here to enjoy Japan and Nara. I'd like to help as much as possible. I can speak everyday English and will do my best to help.
