Good place to stay in Cambridge if you need to be close to the city center, train station and buses.
My husband and I stayed in this flat for 3 weeks and was a good experience. Michael was very nice with us. Because we arrived in a late flight we did a very late check in (2am) and he left the keys for us. Next day I text him asking some questions and he stop by to check that everything was fine. He was very gentile.
The neighborhood is perfect. Easy access to buses,(to go to Cherry Hinton, Sanger Institute, Addenbrooke's hospital etc) close to train station , 20 mins walking from the city center , a small supermarket 2 blocks away and very quiet. Close to Sanger Institute Bus Stop in Hills Road and also close to the Botanic Garden.
The flat was in the first floor (by stairs) have a nice window and good kitchen if you need to cook or warm some food. There is a washing machine that was very useful for me! and I asked Michael if he had a rack to dry the clothes and he brought us one right away.
The bed was very comfortable and was nice that he left 2 towels and clean sheets.
The bath tub have a shower but it is not a "hanging" shower and didn't have shower curtain , so I fund difficult to take showers as I'm used to. If you don't mind about this the bathroom its ok!
There is also a table with chairs and a nice sofa.
The heating and the hot water are very good!
Another thing I found very convenient was the hair dryer.
