Double room in a lovely terraced house 2 minutes walk from Honor Oak station (9 minutes by train to London Bridge). Our neighbourhood has a real village feel, and we have a good sized private garden overlooked by trees.
Located on the edge of One Tree Hill, which has stunning views over London, our home is a calm refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet we're only 9 minutes by train to London Bridge.
We currently have a spare double room for guests, and plenty of storage in our end of terraced, which has a mature garden overlooked by trees.
Our living room has stripped floors, a woodburner stove, an open fireplace, Knoll sofa, and conservatory roofed kitchen that opens out onto a secluded garden.
Guests have their own double room, with plenty of storage space for hanging up clothes and keeping suitcases.
There is a good-sized bathroom with bath and shower, and we have toilets both upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen boasts a table that sits 10 people, and is well equipped. Most people hang out in the kitchen as it is light, and gateway to the garden.
Wifi is accessible throughout the house, and we have spare adaptors to charge your electrical devices.
We are an arty couple, who love adventure, cooking, travel, music, and photography. Longterm Londoners, we are very happy to give advice on places to visit, eat out, night-life etc.
We're always on-hand to greet you and welcome you to our home. We both work locally, which may include being in the kitchen.
The atmosphere in the house is pretty 'chill', and we are a friendly couple who enjoy meeting new people, so kindly check us out.
The name originates from Oak of Honor Hill, or One Tree Hill. The legend is that on 1 May 1602, Elizabeth I picnicked with Sir Richard Bulkeley of Beaumaris in the Lewisham area by an oak tree at the summit of a hill.
