Our Fisherman's House sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. We have an open fire and wood burning stove. We are gable end to the sea so the tide can be heard and seen from the house. We have a kitchen and separate dining room. Come and enjoy!
Our cottage is gable end to the sea and so offers wonderful everchanging sea views and sounds of the ocean ebbing and flowing.
The links golf course is minutes' walk away. Coastal walks both east and west as well as invigorating sea swims for those who wish to indulge.
Diane looks after the cottage for me and lives in the village.
Dooker's Hoose is our Scottish family home where we enjoy the peace and quiet and the proximity to the sea where we swim. We write and paint there and read many books. Our guests write their thoughts and ideas in our visitors' book. We are keen walkers and leave our guide books in the house for you to use. We do not have a televison in our property, as we have always felt it was unnecessary. We continue to use the cottage ourselves, but are happy to share it with like minded people when we are not around. We live in France part of the year; where I work in education both at a local lycee as well as at the Institute of Marine Biology. The art work in the house is mine. It is inspired by all things marine and is composed of sand from local beaches, paint and Scottish inspiration. Please enjoy!
