My sunny apartment is completely renovated in late 2014. The bedroom is beautiful with an authentic tatami floor. A leafy square opposite side of the street has 24 hour convenient store, bakery and a cafe. The view from the balcony is splendid.
My sunny appartment was completely renovated in 2014. The total living space is 39㎡ with a balcony and a small Japanese pebble garden, and it is on the 4th floor of the building. There is a lift. The Japanese room, which is a bedroom, is kept with it's traditional flair with a tatami floor and futons. The futon is brand new and it is of the highest quality from the well known Nishikawa Futon Company. (The double size mattress is designed to give the best back support for babies to persons over 100kg.) The rest of the appartment is renovated with all the modern facilities including shower toilet, computerized bathtub and air-conditions. Opposite the balcony is a leafy square with 24 hour convenient store, bakery and cafe houses. You will enjoy the splendid view of the Skytree and the famous Asahi!
The music room is locked so to keep my private things, otherwise you are welcome to use all the space here and make yourselves at home.
I have written some instructions for the gas stove, air-condition and other electronic goods in English. It is on the table. Please read it carefully! If you need any help, please don't hesitate to contact me via Airbnb mail system.
Rubbish collections are on Tuesday mornings (burnables) and Saturday mornings(non-burnables). Please bring them down outside the building.
Check-in is available from 15:00: It is self-service. Once we confirm the contract, I will send you the digital key number (the pin number is regularly changed for security reasons).
You enter the apartment, turn on the wi-fi system and contact me, please. This way, I know you have entered the house without any problems. If there are problems, however, please call me. You will find the pocket Wi-Fi, door key and the instruction card on the dinning table. Please use both digital and normal keys to lock the door during your stay.
Chek-out is 11:00: If you have problem with the checking time, please let me know IN ADVANCE, so I can organize the house keeping. At your departure, turn all AC and lights off, lock both doors and don't forget to DROP THE KEY IN THE MAILBOX OF THE DOOR.
Using my pocket Wi-Fi during your stay, weather you are inside the appartment or walking around the town, you have the permanent access to internet, which you will appreciate for hotspot accesses are not readily available in Japan. Do not change the system, do not lose, do not take the chip away, do not break, please. Any damage to wifi must be covered by your deposit.
I have no dryer for the washing machine, but there is a coin laundry just round the corner of the building, if you need to dry your clothes fast.
If you wish to bring your pet with you, please contact me.

I am a classical musician and live in Vienna. My activities take me all over the world including my home country, Japan. I love my life except having to live in hotels all the time, so I bought a small appartment in Asakusa which is a historical and charming part of Tokyo. I renovated the place with my architect friend, keeping the traditional Japanese room with specially ordered tatami floor, the rest of the place is in an European style with all the modern comforts. I hope you may like my place and enjoy the stay in lovely Asakusa.
