Check out my place as seen on tv!
***Featured on "Good Morning America" in
"Witnessing History Like a V.I.P. See what it's like to experience the inauguration from the lap of luxury."
***Common Room with a pull-out sofa bed, $36/night + $18/night for additional guests(90% private, very rarely home other than to sleep...I haven't even met several of my guests!!).
***I have an English basement in the heart of Washington, DC. One block from metro (one stop from the DC Convention Center)and bus lines and only a few blocks from the U street night life. Ideally, the space is for two people, but there is plenty of floor room and I have an air mattress that sleeps two, as well as a sleeping bag and several extra blankets.
***Full size kitchen with a microwave/stove, but I don't do a lot of, so its not stocked beyond the basics. Bathroom with a shower. I also have a small dresser with three drawers which are yours to use and stocked with some toiletries incase you have forgotten anything.(especially nice for longer stays).
***I have a lot of guests, many checking in the same day other guests check out, so on that note, I have my apartment professionally cleaned once a month and I try to upkeep as best as possible inbetween, but ask that you pitch in to do your dishes, etc. In terms of breakfast/food, I don't keep much in the house, but help yourself to whatever is there and there are several stores in the area (2-4 blocks) and if you have any special needs I can definitely try to accomidate with enough advance notice. I do provide every guest clean towels and sheets.
***I have Netflix, so again with enough notice (5/6days) I can get two movies of your choice. Plus I have a ton of DVDs, VHS, and books.
***I do ask for a copy of an ID for security purposes.
