Private bedroom with shared bathroom in a cozy 3rd-floor apartment occupied by a sweet Jewish couple. Quiet, heterogeneous neighborhood at the southern edge of Jerusalem. The Pais Arena only a five minute walk behind our building . Charming view of parkland and city. Easy bus travel to anywhere in Jerusalem.
We trust your stay will be comfortable, and welcome any special requests you may have.
On our side, we ask that you limit the time you spend inside the apartment to the morning and evening hours. If you need to stay inside during mid-day hours, please coordinate with us in advance.
If you smoke, please do so only outside (there is a bench near the building). While I love animals, my husband is not a fan, so please come without your pet. If you have friends or relatives in the area, we ask that you refrain from inviting them into the apartment.
We try to have lights out and go to sleep by 11 pm on weeknights, so we ask that you respect quiet hours after that time. If you intend on returning late to the apartment on a weeknight, please coordinate with us in advance. Weekend nights (Thursdays and Fridays) are more flexible.
I am a university-educated, Russian-American Jew with a love for Judaism and a deep respect for all religions. I immigrated to Israel from the US (Boston, Mass) in 2010. In 2012 I married my husband Shlomo, a native Israeli. Our firstborn son was born in July 2014.
I currently work part-time as a fundraising administrative assistant for an NGO called Rabbis for Human Rights. I am also expecting my second child at the end of November 2016.
My husband and I are observant of Jewish religious tradition, but we also enjoy meeting people from diverse cultures and hosting visitors from around the world. We are excited to open our apartment to short-term renters who have made Jerusalem their place of pilgrimage or simply a stop on their travel itinerary.
Enjoy your trip to Jerusalem!
