Staying with Nee gives you the full village experience directed by Nee herself. She showed us a lot of her village including many of her family and friends' shops where we were encouraged to make purchases. She took us to several temples where we were strongly encouraged to make donations as well. I really appreciated the authenticity of the stay, the bungalow itself is great. However, if independent travel is what you're looking for this might not be the place to go. We asked about transportation and informed Nee of our intended plans to go to the nearby national parks and were told in detail that all forms of transport were impractical for the area, making it sound like she was our only option of getting around. This even culminated in Nee making us miss our bus that she told us she'd help us catch, by showing us another one of her friends' shops. We also needed to purchase some small items such as sunscreen, which Nee told us we wouldn't be able to find close by so she offered to drive us to her friend's shop 15 minutes away. While we appreciated the gesture at the time, when we went on a walk the next day, we found multiple cheaper options within 5 minutes walking distance from her home. Nee ended up driving us around quite a bit. We appreciated the rides, and offered to pay for her to take us to places we wanted to go, but ended up paying for her to take us to places she wanted us to go. Nee also encouraged us to donate goods to a neighboring Burmese village which we were very interested in doing, as the Burmese in that area are far less fortunate than other locals. We purchased necessities which we planned on just dropping off at the village, not wanting to make any sort of deal about it. But when we got there, Nee insisted on the children lining up and having us dole it out them which made for a very uncomfortable situation for everyone. The pictures of my sister and I with the Burmese children that Nee insisted on taking after this whole process reflect a sense of unease in both the children and us. We were disappointed that this is how our gesture came across, definitely not what we had intended and once again, the situatuon was twisted to Nee's liking despite our clear expression of how we wanted things to go. Nee also offers cooking classes that were frankly overpriced for the complexity of the dishes we made. We made a very simple soup one night and a pizza another night (which we partially taught her how to make, having worked in a pizza shop back home) and were charged 500 baht plus ingredients per dish without prior knowledge of the price on either. To finish off our visit, Nee insited on driving us to the airport, as she said a taxi, costing 1000 baht...

Nee is a delightful hostess who immediately makes you feel at home. She took us through the village and introduced us to neighbors snd relatives. We saw what life is like in this northern area. Everyone was friendly. Nee is an excellent cook. we ate most of our delicious meals at her place and she even gave me a cooking lesson. The accommodations were comfortable and peaceful. When we mentiined we would like to go to Mae Sai, she arranged a scooter for us and gave us back road directions. By the time we left, we felt like family and we want to come back to the area next year and stay longer.

Our stay with Nee was not only the highlight of our trip, but was also by far the best Airbnb experience I have ever had. She was very communicative before our stay and helped us to arrange transportation. She introduced us to her family, took us on a tour of her beautiful village, and even taught us how to cook a delicious Thai dinner. We were overwhelmed by her generosity and good humor. I would highly recommend staying with Nee to anyone who is planning a trip to Thailand. Thank you so much for the incredible experience, Nee!
Many Thanks lan hope to see you on the future:-)

Nee was very sweet and made us feel very welcome. She has good english. The accommodations are very rustic and not at all what we expected. There were no screens on the open windows, the beds were two twin mattresses on the floor. I found mouse feces in my bed and the covers were a hot itchy polyester. These were backpacker accommodations at a high price. The location is less than ideal on a major highway. Not at all the country setting we expected. We imagined biking around the area but it would have been far to dangerous. We ended up staying only one night and moving to a nic place in town for 10.00 less a night. We forefited over 125.00 dollars.

Staying with Nee was by far the best stay of our trip to Thailand. She was warm and inviting for our entire trip. She took us to the white temple, to the markets in the area, and to a really interesting festival occurring at a local temple. If you're looking for an authentic Thai experience, look no further. The hut is exactly as described, and although it is a bit warm in the summer, Nee was nice enough to provide a fan to keep cool. She also let us borrow her bicycles to go explore the local village. Nee is a great host and a lovely person. Bonus tip: Eat a few meals at her noodle shop. By far the best food we've had in Thailand.

This was one of the most wonderful experiences I've had with Airbnb! Nee and her family were very personable, warm and affectionate hosts. They made us feel like we were at home, in Thailand. If you want to have an authentic thai living experience, and Nee's is the perfect place! Highly recommended for travelers who like an off the beaten path experience.
Thank you Amar

Great place to stay. Nee took me to many place in her village. Her son and sisters are also very nice. The noodle shop her sister run is quite delicious. I had had good experience to have really local food at home and home grown fruits. very quiet place, but not too far from Chiang Sean city. At her place, you can see many stars, less traffic, no pollution and great sun set. You can feel real thai life.
