A big 3rd floor apartment in a perfect location. Close to everything in Oslos most interesting neighbourhood; Grünerløkka.
Parks, bars, restaurants, movies, public transport. All within 2 minutes walk (4 if you are in very bad shape:)
Most people are out and about when in Oslo, but this apartment makes sure you can break a leg and still enjoy yourself. Here are the facts:
The apartment's got a big livingroom with all you need for a rainy day.
Comfy, big sofa, TV, stereo with bluetooth-connection and mini-jack, Playstation 3 with 15+ games, 200+ dvds and series, books (mainly in norwegian), Netflix and 400 cds (anyone remember those???)
Free wifi all through the apartment.
I have built a bar that links the livingroom and the entrance hall. Nice place to enjoy a meal or a drink, or just to sit and surf the web/work/research (like I am doing now).
Double bed 155cm by 200 cm. Only available when renting the whole apartment. Normally I sleep here.
I like my mattresses hard so expect a firm, good quality mattress.
1 Ikea bunkbed with 2 beds. Mattresses are 90 cm by 200 cm.
Small office-space where you can work or surf the web. For the time being: bring your own pc.
Bedroom is facing the backyard, which means it is the most quiet room in the apartment.
White tiles all over. Floor heating. Very nice shower.
The bathroom is small so don't expect to be more than one in there at the time.
Nice, small kitchen with most stuff you need to cook your dinner. Two shelves in the fridge for you + 1 shelve in the freezer means you can shop and store some food if you want to save money.
The neighbours in the building are VERY quiet and nice. No problem with sounds through walls etc. Treat them always with respect.
Guests have access to the whole apartment
Guests also have free access to my bike.
I provide bedsheets and 1 bathtowel pr person.
I run my own company and travel a lot on my own. That means I won't always be around. Preferably you are "self propelled" and know how to handle yourself when travelling, but when I am around you can always rely on me to help you with tips and answer questions about Oslo and the area. Just don't expect a 24 hour vacation-service helping you with everything. Be your own master.
No deals to be made. Listed price is final prize. Always.
Check-in before 10 PM/22.00!! At night I sleep:)
Treat stuff as you would your own.
Treat people as you would your mother.
Quiet at 11 PM every day all week.
No pets. No smoking. No exceptions.
This is not a party schack. Party on the town. When you come home; the party is over, shut up and go to bed.
I am 35 years old and live in Oslo, Norway. For approximately 2-5 days of the year; the most beautiful city in the world.
I run a small company that organizes outdoor teambuilding for businesses. Running this kind of business is very much a lifestyle, so as a result I lead a very active life.
Besides my work I read, cook, do maintenance on my cabin (built in the year 1811) and I compete in different triathlons.
Back when I was 20 I studied half a year at Oakland University in Michigan while playing soccer for the Golden Grizzlies. I also used to play soccer in second division in Norway, but a string of injuries made me hang my boots up, and now I focus on learning new sports like surfing, golf and soulsearching (the most noble of all sports).
I read a lot of books, mostly fiction and I love good food. Both preparing it myself and eating at good restaurants.
I have been travelling a lot the last couple of years and my top five recommendations would be:
Playa Grande, Costa Rica
Playa Venao, Panama
Nosara, Costa Rica
Almost forgot: I'm a musicfan and have a long list of favorites from Nick Drake via The Beach Boys to Radiohead. A lot of indie in other words.
I am a quiet person, totally hassel-free who gets around everywhere without any problems. I keep my appointments and I am very reliable.
