Charming 3 floor house in Jordaan
This lovely 19th century house, with a view on the Bloemgracht, is located in the heart of the famed Jordaan. The Anne Frank House, Damsquare and all …
Maik's house is located in Jordan, a great neighborhood of Amsterdam. The house is a typical Amsterdam house, on three levels. It matches perfectly the description. The living room (situated on the middle floor) is very comfortable, with a small but well equipped kitchen, It has a nice view of the canal. The 2 bedrooms were perfect for accommodating me and my 2 daughters Maik was great and easy to communicate with. He sent us a map and different transportatio options before our arrival. He welcomed us in the house, and showed us what we needed to know about the house. He also gave use some very good tips about nearby restaurants (4 blocks away, there is a street with 5/6 restaurants with tables outside where we had dinner twice). He also directed us to a rental bike shop around the corner which was very convenient. In summary, a great place to spend 2-3 nights in a very nice neighborhood of Amsterdam
This is an excellent apartment located in the heart of The Jordaan, blocks away from many sites and a short bike ride from anything you'd want to see in Amsterdam. Maik is a very accommodating and terrific host. The apartment itself is a true two bedroom, each on their own floor, separated by the common living space on the second floor. I can't say enough about the location and having Bike City around the corner was clutch for the few days rental we did to see the sites. Thanks for being a terrific and communicative host throughout our stay, Maik!
Great location in a great neighborhood. There is a tram stop about a 5 minute walk away and a bunch of great restaurants all within a 10 minute walk. Maik recommended La Perla, which was delicious. The apartment is nice, clean, comfortable, and looks just like the pictures. The big windows let in a lot of light. Maik was a good host. Always reachable by text message and gave great recommendations on what to do and where to eat. Word of advice to people visiting Amsterdam, if you want to see the Anne Frank House, get there when it opens because the line starts early. If you want to go to the Van Gogh museum, which is amazing, buy tickets beforehand or get there within the first hour of it opening if you don't have tickets. The museum reaches capacity early.
