Looking to save some money while working or traveling in the SF Bay Area? But still wanting a Warm, Funky, Safe place to stay so you can relax in the hot tub or enjoy a glass of wine by the fire pit? Well, then this is the place for you!!!
This room with a twin bed and fold-out ottoman overlooks the tranquil backyard ... enjoy viewing through the French Doors and don't even get out of bed in the morning! Down the hall, there is a LARGE PRIVATE bathroom with SEPARATE SHOWER & TUB.
Outside is the GEM!! There is a HOT TUB, easy-to-use GAS BBQ, COPPER SINK, FRIG, 2 Gas Stove Tops, and BREATH-TAKING GAS FIRE PIT which will keep you super warm even in 20 degree weather! The upper patio (w/firepit) OVERLOOKS the MT DIABLO HILLS and has a new patio cover over the top of it. The FOUNTAINS, BIRDBATHS, & GARDENS make it a relaxing, resort-like atmosphere. There are many trees, grapevines, playful squirrels, birds, and occasional deer in the large yard.
There is wireless internet access, free parking, full use of the kitchen, as well as the outdoor BBQ, frig, stove tops & copper sink.
In August/Sept, the grapevines are in bloom - please pick, eat, & enjoy them!!! In Sept/Oct, there are fuji apples for you to enjoy! I have planted much more, but you choose to pick whatever you want!!
The OPEN SPACE area nearby is great for Hiking, Biking, Running, & Wildlife exploring. I love it!!! There are public TENNIS COURTS + a nice PARK down the street. There are also nearby GOLF COURSES.

UPON REQUEST, your dog will be considered as a guest for an extra fee of $10 per night. I love dogs, but prefer to discuss beforehand. Thank you!
Outside, enjoy the outdoor fire pit, bbq, hot tub, garden! Inside, you have your room, your private bathroom, living room, and kitchen.
You choose. We are available if you want to knock on our door or join us by the fire pit, hot tub, or bbq!! You can always text us too.
1. We live in the house, but are often downstairs, outside, at work, or just out and about.
2. If you are looking for a double bed, please check the availability of my other listing.
3. Upon request, your dog will be considered as a guest for an extra fee of $10 per night, which I have to add in manually b/c Airbnb currently does not have an option for this to be automatically calculated in the total price. I do love dogs, but prefer to discuss beforehand. Thank you!
Please let me know your estimated time of arrival (ETA) and if it changes, no problem.... please just let me know because I have a front gate.
You will be given a REMOTE control for the gate when you arrive. Please leave it in the locked MAILBOX (marked "733") when you depart. The gate automatically closes after 15 seconds behind you.
Please squeegy down the shower after use.
If you have a dog, please have it do its business on the mulch (not the grass) and pick up after it.
If you are outside on the patios in the evenings, please keep it quiet after 9 pm weekdays and 11 pm on the weekends . . . my neighbors will appreciate it!
THANK YOU SO MUCH and ENJOY YOUR STAY!
I am easy-going and enjoy meeting new people. I love snow skiing, tennis, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with family/friends. My favorite travel destinations are NZ, Ireland, & Idaho, Montana, Alaska - - all gorgeous w/fabulous people! My boyfriend, Skip, is from the Oregon/Washington area and sometimes is gone traveling for his work.
I am a working professional. Depending on my workload, I may not be around much. I hope you feel at home in our home! And if we are in your home, please be assured we will treat it like it is our own, i.e., with care, respect, and cleanliness! And I have learned from my parents and live by it: "If you borrow something, return it in better condition than you found it."
