The room is super-bright and 700mt from Ponte Lungo metro station. Fairly central, but not right in the middle of the touristy mayhem, it has direct access to a stunning balcony where you can relax sipping some wine after your long day in Rome.
The flat is comfortably close to the main attractions in Rome, but not as close as to be right in the middle of the touristy mayhem! You can walk to the Coliseum and Circus Maximus in 20 minutes or, if you're feeling a bit lazy, there are 2 buses just down the road that'll take you there in no time. The metro is 10 minutes away on foot (700mt) and the best ice-cream shop in Rome 5. Ah! Did I mention there's an amazing park literally 2 minutes down the road? All rooms have their own bathroom (1 en suite, the other external but with exclusive use).
I love my home and have tried to make it as comfortable as possible both for myself and anyone visiting. I have 2 big rooms, which I rent out through AirBnB, both with a big closet and their own bathroom, flat TV screen in the lounge and a wi-fi connection. If you want to explore Rome's culinary scene, I'll be happy to help you choose the best restaurant out there!
I usually work 8am to 6pm, so am mostly out, but am always available via phone and at home in the evening if you need anything. Also, I adore art's history and will be very happy to help with tips and advice.
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE HOUSE RULES BEFORE BOOKING YOUR STAY
When asking to book a room with me, please make sure you tell me something about yourself and the person travelling with you. "Sightseeing" or "Tourism" won't help me decide whether I want you as my guest in my home or not.
Please note I will only accept check-ins until 10:00pm. Check in time must be previously agreed with me, so that there is always someone home to welcome you and I can go out before or after your time of arrival. Please note that if you're over an hour late, you might have to wait until I come home. If you are late, please make sure you SMS me or send me an AirBnB message.
Please note the TV only has Italian channels.
Please note that I rent out both rooms in the flat, so you may find other people staying, along with me and my boyfriend. Everyone has their own bathroom.
Even though one of the rooms I rent out has direct access to the balcony, please note the balcony is NOT of exclusive use to that room. Therefore, please do not move the table/chairs from where they are located on the balcony.
Please note that my flat is NOT in the centre of Rome, but in a district close to it (you can walk to the Coliseum) and the metro is 700mt from home (or 10 minutes walk). There are different buses to get to the centre, the closest to home being about 50 metres down the road (628 bus).
1.The kitchen is private space and its use is not allowed. Please do NOT ask to use it (or any part of it) because I will have to turn your request down. A mini-fridge and mini-kettle will be available in each room.
2.If you take anything, make sure you place it back where you found it
3.Please don't eat my food unless you're offered
4.If you break anything, please be aware you might be asked to pay it back
5.Given the high cost of electricity in Italy, if you want to use the washing machine, please note there's a €10 charge (every 2 loads)
6.Smoking is ONLY allowed on the balcony
7.Even though I absolutely adore animals, unfortunately, I'm allergic to their fur, so no pets allowed
8.Please do not use the bolt when I'm not home. I have to be able to access my own flat
9.No other people than the guests are allowed on the premises
10.Please do not download any material on the wi-fi
11.If you lose/break the keys, please note there is a €50 charge for it
12.After you've used the maps provided, please leave them where you found them, so that the guests coming after you can enjoy them as well
13.Ordering food to the flat is not allowed
14.Please make sure you leave by 10am on the day of your departure, so that I can make the room as nice as it was for you, for my next guests
