Beautiful tranquil historic home close to I-25, Presbyterian Hospital (walking distance), UNM, Nob Hill & Downtown. A lovely escape in the heart of the city. Pets welcome.
We really enjoyed our stay in Dream's beautiful home. It is comfortable, serene, functional and aesthetically appealing. The location is also great -- cute neighborhood, near a park, and within walking distance to UNM. The folks who help Dream out in terms of the "running" of this rental arrangement are also very friendly. All in all, I highly recommend renting from Dream!
Dream and Tom were very responsive and helpful. We stayed at the house for almost a month after we sold our home in ABQ. The house is an older adobe on a quiet, tree lined street. Parking was easy. Walkable to UNM and Pres, a little more of a hike to the heart of Nob Hill. It's in a patchwork area of ABQ overall for safety, but we thought it was fine and the street seemed safe. The house is decorated very nicely with all the described amenities. The update bathroom is lovely and spacious. Some of the artwork can be frightening to very small children (masks and statues), but it is all very interesting and Dream has clearly taken some time to source it. The casita is very secluded and not an issue for guests in the main house. I would note that the central air is actually a swamp cooler, which provides cooling for the entire house from one vent, so the bedrooms can get stuffy at night if you don't crack the doors, but with fans we were fine. The cleaning lady could have been a bit more thorough prior to move in, but I'm pretty picky about cleanliness, so overall OK on that. Overall, our experience was good! Very well priced for what you get vs a corporate extended stay.
This home was an absolutely lovely way to spend a long weekend in Albuquerque. The house is beautifully furnished, comfortable, and has everything that you would possibly need, including apricot and cherry trees. It is quiet and peaceful, and close to walkable places in Nob Hill. Dream was a great hostess from afar, and has a caretaker who lives across the street for any problems (we had none). I would highly recommend this great place to stay. We had a wonderful time!
