Casabella is beautifully located at the edge of a small settlement about 15 kilometers away from Siena and 3 km away from the village of Sovicille. Partially surrounded by fields and vineyards, it enjoys lovely views over the hilly countryside.
The interior is spacious and comfortable, furnished in sober elegance so typical of the Tuscan country-style whilst containing the comforts of modern living (a well equipped kitchen and utility-room).
The entrance door leads into an ample sitting room with a fireplace, and then into a dining room and kitchen. Another sitting room located in a small attic is reached by a spiral staircase.
Beside the house, the guests can access the lovely pool, as well as the garden terrace with barbecue. Another terrace with view is situated just at the entrance door, both with garden furniture. The lovely pool, with views over the hills, is open from May to October. The pool is to be shared with the guests of a smaller, semi-detached house, Casabellina. Inside the house: Satellite TV, Internet WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, open fireplace (we provide some firewood), CD-player, oven, toaster, coffee machines and all other cooking utensiles.
We are always happy to interact with our guests and make them feel home. Plus, we always provide them with some useful information on the nearby sightseeing spots, as well as shops and restaurants in the area.
The particularly favorable setting of Casabella allows for a combination of countryside quietness and various possibilities for local excursions to places of natural beauty and of cultural relevance, such as Siena, San Gimignano and Florence.
Guests are allowed to use all the kitchen utensils and the other stuff they find in the different cupboards, however they should be respectful of them as well as of the house and the neighborhood.
I am a curious and open-minded person, I like to know more about different cultures, I am happy when I can speak the different languages I know. I don't like judging people or situations, I just try to understand them. I feel I am part of the world.
Always happy to welcome new guests, they should feel themselves home!
