Our sunny and spacious New York apartment is situated on a peaceful street in the midst of the exciting East Village area. We also have doorman entrance, all mod cons, balcony, roof top garden, gym, coin operated laundry and easy access to subways!
Welcome to the East Village
Lovely and secure doorman building in the East Village with a large bedroom. This artistic apartment features a spacious kitchen and bathroom, with all mod cons e.g. microwave, oven, bath & shower with lots of hot water. You can even see a bit of the Empire State building from the balcony! There is also a gym, washing machine and dryer (both coin operated) in the basement of the apartment - very convenient! The rooftop garden features an amazing view over Manhattan.
Situated near Tompkins Square Park we are surrounded by great nightlife, creative energy, restaurants, bars and music. Fortunately the apartment is on a quiet street so you get the best of both worlds!
F train 2nd Ave stop is 10 minutes walk and the L train 1st Ave stop is 12 minutes walk - you are 1 stop from Williamsburg, 2 stops to Soho, 4 stops to Chelsea Markets. Both train lines easily connects you to all the sights of Manhattan whether it's the 9-11 Memorial, Highline, MoMa, Guggenheim etc all within 20 minutes subway ride.
What to do in the area
Some of the best vintage/boutique shopping, restaurants (Momofoku, Ippudo, Crif dogs,Hearth ), bars (PDT, Book & Dax, Sake Bar Decibel) and live music venues (Mercury Lounge, Rookwood Music Hall) are within walking distance. You can also visit one of the many community gardens in the area, shop at the East Village beloved Strand Bookshop or catch a movie at Sunshine Cinema!
Kitchen, communal rooftop terrace with incredible 360 degree views over Manhattan, doorman security, balcony, free gym access and coin operated laundry in basement. I think this is one of the best buildings to stay in New York
Happy to provide tips of fun places to go. Love this city so I want to share that enthusiasm.
