The downstairs is where I keep supplies for the Loft and is a space we use in the winter (Sauna, exercise, crafts etc). It can be used for bikes or suitcases, just be mindful of the carpets. Also the deck downstairs is open with a grill and seating. You may enjoy the back yard which has a path out of the back gate that goes down to the marsh plus we are surrounded by 11,000 acres of State park and Ducktrap river conservation land. If our vegetable garden is overflowing we will let you know to help yourself. In July around the 19th we have a 3 week raspberry explosion that is available for early morning cereal or late night ice cream.
We are available except for 2 weeks in July when we vacation elsewhere. We have a wide network of friends that can be on hand if needed.
When you stay in the loft, we prefer that the downstairs barn doors be slid closed as much as possible. It keeps the Loft cooler and more private.
Hi, Thank you for viewing our listing. My husband David and I have been living on the property for 25 years and our farmhouse is a work in progress.
The Beach Loft is a fun way to share our beautiful neighborhood with family and visitors. I am a web designer and fine artist and have recently returned to school full time for a degree in Computer Information Services. So if you need a Web Site and want to learn to build one, a vacation in the Loft could be the perfect write off! My husband David is a musician and a residential home builder and finish carpenter. In his spare time he excels at traditional archery and there is a small target area on the property.
We have 2 sons and a happy Jack Russell Terrier. The oldest son is having adventures after college and our youngest is currently a student and working with his dad summers.
