Dear Lorraine, I'm sorry you feel this way. I let you know days BEFORE you were in town that I would need a copy of each guest's id for the safety and fairness of myself and all my guests. This is something I am allowed to ask for and I have updated my listing appropriately. I didn't and don't have a problem with you contacting Airbnb. In fact, they were very helpful in being a go-between. What I was not comfortable with is you NOT communicating with me at all on the day of arrival. I DID warn you that your booking would be canceled, you chose not to respond. The reason I canceled your reservation was because I knew you were upset (over the id situation that Airbnb helped work out) but you were unwilling to communicate and work it out with me. Your lack of communication in an uncomfortable situation is what got your reservation canceled. I wish you the best!
