The entrance takes you into a utility room with washing machine and fridge/freezer, following into a modern kitchen suite with a range of fitted appliances to include an electric oven with gas hob, dishwasher and microwave. The open plan dining area leads to a cosy and comfortable living room with a TV where you can sit back and relax with a glass of wine after a day of exploring. The living room has two sofas one of which turns into a further double bed which would be ideal to accommodate an older child if necessary. The private garden is well tendered with a patio area where you can enjoy "alfresco dining" and absorbs a woodland outlook where you can sit back and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.
You could take a stroll to the charming local pub "The Manor House Inn" which is within 600 yards and offers a good rustic environment with local ales and good home cooked food, also with a "take away" option!
Rilla Mill is a pretty village in the valley bordered by the River Lynher where there are lots of lovely scenic woodland walks within a stones throw of Netherhill. You can take a picnic and find a spot in Stara Woods to enjoy and observe the wildlife and tranquility. Bodmin Moor is easily accessible being approximately 3 miles away; with historic monuments such as the Cheesewring and Hurlers Stones (which was one of the film locations for Poldark)! and offers the opportunity of exploring miles of beautiful picturesque moorland. There is the popular open air "Sterts" theatre which has a busy summer programme and seats 500 which is only 1 mile away in the neighbouring village of Upton Cross.
The nearby towns of Callington & Liskeard lie within 6 miles and the market town of Launceston is approximately 7 miles where there are various supermarkets and retail outlets. At Liskeard there is a mainline railway station where you can enjoy a scenic train ride on a branch line to the fishing port of "Looe". The harbour city of Plymouth also lies within 20 miles which offers a more extensive range of retail and recreational facilities along with its tourist attractions.
Rilla Mill is easily accessible to both the North and South coasts for exploring different tourist attractions and coastal paths which allow you to enjoy miles of the breathtaking rugged Cornish coastline. Both the main dual carriageways of A30 and A38 are within 7 Miles of the annex
Netherhill is the perfect cosy couples retreat and is in a great position for exploring the rest of this stunning county being within 7 miles of the main dual carriageways of A30 and A38.
Netherhill Annex is ideally suited for couples and in addition a third adult or older child.
The annex is part of Netherhill house but very much has it own privacy with its own private entrance and own garden which is separate to the house. There is a large driveway for private parking and can accommodate larger vehicles.
The property is situated in a peaceful valley yet being so accessible to all that Cornwall has to offer on both the North and South coasts. After a day of exploring you can relax in idyllic surroundings and get away from the hustle and bustle.
The owner/occupier of Netherhill can be available to meet and greet you on your arrival and will prepare a welcome hamper. Both Nigel and Christine can give you privacy should you not wish to be disturbed however they can be available should you need to ask any questions or require anything.
