Super cute family home in the most convenient location! We're a family of four that likes to travel, and we love to share our home while we're away. Our home is just ~1 mile to Children's Hospital, ~2 Miles to UW campus, and only blocks to great cafes, library, a fantastic food co-op, and many other restaurants and services. Bus routes just steps out our door, Car2Go cars and Lime/Spin bikes found throughout the neighborhood. We hope you'll find your stay with us easy and comfortable!
Walk to cafes, grocery stores, library and more. Bus routes on the corner, with quick access (bike, walk or short bus ride) to Children's Hospital, UW, light rail and downtown. Honestly the location is perfect!
The house is cute and cozy, and flows like a space twice its size. You enter into the main living space with a couch, coffee table, window bench seating and dining table. This room opens into the sunny kitchen, fully stocked including a sweet breakfast nook for four. Washer/dryer and pantry beyond.
The queen bedroom is in a hallway with its own full bathroom, offering relative privacy. The second bedroom has twin bunk beds and plenty of toys to keep kids of all ages occupied, and has another full bathroom attached.
The den has closing French doors, and a super comfy couch for a fifth person. Guitars, ukeleles and a piano line the walls, along with a 32" Roku TV connectable to your streaming service accounts. In nice weather this room also opens onto a full deck with BBQ and dining for six. Hammock, tree swings, fire pit and your pick of sun or shade complete the backyard.
Our neighborhood is safe and welcoming; our home cozy and private. It is clean and cute and has everything you'll need while here in the Emerald City. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Any space in our home is available to you! If you have need to sleep more than five people, let us know and we can arrange for air mattresses on the floor.
We will be traveling, accessible by phone or email. We always have a local contact available for on-site emergencies, as well.
My husband Martin and I are both environmental scientists, and we love showing our two kids the natural and cultural wonders of the world. When we travel we love staying in local families' homes - it connects us to place and people in ways hotels simply can't do. We know the value of a clean, well-maintained and honestly-represented property, and hope you'll find ours to be just that.
