**If you see anything upon check in that seems out of place, unusual, or unexpected, please mention it in a text to me. We do our best to make sure that everyone's experience is perfect, but if we are unaware of a problem, we cannot fix it.
•Please remove shoes in the cabin.
•In an effort to help Big Bear with the water shortage we want to wash only those linens that we know have been used. Please leave any beds you have used unmade. (Please do not sleep directly on top of or underneath the bedspreads (comforters). Extra blankets can be found in the cabin in drawers, closets, or baskets.
•The hot water heater is small, so you may want to plan to time out showers by about 1/2 hour.
•Each room has a TV. The DVD player in the Living Room is part of the television and can be accessed on the right hand side.
•There are cooking utensils and dishes at the cabin for your use. PLEASE CLEAN ALL DISHES AND APPLIANCES, LEAVING THEM THE WAY YOU FOUND THEM. The cleaning fee that has been paid covers linens and restrooms only. This is how we keep costs down for everyone.
FAILURE TO leave the kitchen in acceptable condition WILL RESULT IN A SECURITY DEPOSIT CLAIM OF $100. Luckily, we haven't had to do this yet. :)
•There are three wall heaters. The two in the bottom bedrooms run off of a thermostat located on the wall of the front bedroom. The Living Room heater is turned on at the thermostat next to the front window. (The top bedroom gets very hot when all heaters are on…the ceiling fan will help keep the heat in the bottom of the cabin. You can also close the door to the upstairs bedroom,)
•Trash service in Big Bear is wacky, so you will need to take all of your trash with you. There is a “Clean Bear “ site, which has dumpsters for disposal of household waste. It is at the fire station, which is across the street from the Community Theatre on Highway 18 (less than a mile from the cabin). The green can is for CRV recyclables only. FAILURE TO REMOVE ALL TRASH WILL RESULT IN A $50.00 SECURITY DEPOSIT CLAIM.
•Please, no children under the age of 16 are to be in the upstairs bedroom.
•Please do not eat in the bedrooms.
•THERE IS NO SMOKING INSIDE! Please limit smoking to outside and use a safe receptacle for ashes. NO BUTTS ON THE GROUND!
•Special arrangements must be made if you plan on bringing a pet.
There is parking available for 3 cars only. Do not park in neighbors' driveways, on the street, or in the yard. It is best to try to limit your vehicles to 2, especially during snow time.
•The hot tub key can be found on the side of the refrigerator.
•Please keep off of the hot tub cover. It has a foam core and will snap.
