Amenities: “The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is a plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to use only the provided paper for the toilet and keep any other items in the sanitary bin we’ve provided in the bathroom. We simply want to ensure you have a royal flush kind of stay:)”
Behavior: "If you’re coming to Southern Maine to party we hope you have a great time! Unfortunately, just not at our place. Though we’re sure it won’t come to it, unruly behavior will unfortunately result in you being asked to leave. Not good for you. Not good for us."
Check-in / Check-out: "Check-in is at 3pm, and check-out is by 11am. Arriving slightly earlier, or want that extra hour to sleep? Should be fine, but please check with us first."
Cleanliness: "Whilst we do a thorough clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and put any dirty towels in the hamper and all the trash in the trash container provided. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests.

"What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law… not so much one of our rules."
Electricity: Lights / AC / Heating "To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to our guests) we kindly ask that you switch off lights and heating when its not in use or leaving the house. Mother nature thanks you too."
Noise: "To be considerate to the host on the second floor, we kindly ask to keep things on the quieter-side after 9pm. We’ll make sure to reciprocate the favor. Unless it’s Rod Stewart. He’s okay to play at any time in all areas of the house :)"
Occupancy: "We ask that you kindly respect our maximum occupancy requirement of three. We have this in place instead of an additional guest charge in an attempt to keep costs down for you." "We understand that for a whole verity of reasons, you may want additional guests to stay in the place. In the event that you want additional guests to stay, please contact us to let us know. We’re reasonable folk and will accommodate wherever possible."
Security: “To ensure full safety of our guest’s belongings, guests should lock the door when leaving the property.” This is a very low crime area and we have never had any break-ins since the property was built in 1985.
I enjoy traveling with my wife Angie as we both like meeting people from distant places. We have been together for many years and now have an empty nest which makes for an ideal place to host. We enjoy cycling in the spring, summer and fall, archery competition and snowshoeing, snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter. Since our home is located only 25 minutes to the Wells/Ogunquit beaches in southern Maine, we do spend many hours at the beach. The area provides miles of good paved country roads excellent for cycling. We enjoy traveling to distant places and wilderness camping with our travel camper. We are seeking guests who enjoy a safe quiet country atmosphere in a well maintained, fully furnished two bedroom apartment. My wife and I enjoy maintaining our home and surrounding grounds, usually busy having a planned project to work on every year. We love the home we have built and will enjoy sharing our little bit of paradise with our guests.
