We are located in a quiet leafy neighbourhood with excellent area security. A short walk gets you to the train station or public transport, a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. We are close to cricket and rugby grounds, golf course or driving range, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Constantia wine farms and only 20 minutes to any of Cape Town's many beautiful beaches.
Can dine inside or at outdoor patio tables, relax on the loungers in the garden next to the pool, access to hairdryer or iron on request.
Secure off-street parking overnight.
We live in the main house and enjoy interaction with guests. We are available for help with directions and suggestions.
There are two other apartments on the property, each with one permanent occupant, one of whom has a lovely sheepdog.
We are very "green" minded and recycle as much as possible. We have solar hot water heating for showers and respect the current severe water restrictions trying to save as much water as possible. We ask our guests to do the same.
I am a born and bred Cape Town-ian who loves to invite guests to share our home and our beautiful city. I love hiking our majestic mountains, good books, our excellent food and wine Cape Town has to offer. I am a newly retired physiotherapist and my husband is a retired architectural designer. We have two married daughters and two granddaughters.
