Stylish one story, two-bedroom house located in a friendly neighborhood in Bloomington, Indiana, home of Indiana University. Just a jog away from the B-Line Trail for cycling, running, and walking and a quick, 30-minute walk to downtown or 10-minute drive to campus. LGBTQA+ friendly. Fully-furnished home, a half-acre backyard for grilling and a fire pit, wildflowers, great for birdwatching certain times of the year, fenced in area for pets, and is 15-30 minutes from Lake Monroe and Lake Lemon.
What makes this home unique is its proximity to downtown and campus while still being located in a quiet part of town. This quaint homestead is on a half-acre lot with two beehives (in the way back so don't worry!) It's the perfect space for your pet to run around outside and for you to enjoy the outdoors.
Located less than two miles from downtown, it's close to three grocery stores and lots of local restaurants. If you're a bit of a foodie, then feel free to use the full kitchen stocked with utensils for making delicious meals or head downtown to enjoy a wide-selection of cuisine from all over the world. You can enjoy a cup of French press coffee on the front porch while listening to the birds sing or grab a six-pack of Upland Beer for porch beers with a buddy.
The home is decorated with artwork from various Bloomington-based artists and if you happen to visit during the first Friday of the month, then consider going to Gallery Walk. You may run into one of the artists!
You have access to the entire house during your stay.
Before you check-out, please put all of the trash in the garbage cans located throughout the house and all recycling in the bin located in the kitchen under the counter.
I have a lot of antique China that I use daily in my cabinets. If you choose to use it, then note that it's hand wash only. Please don't consume any of the alcohol in the house but feel free to pick some up from Lucky's Market less than a mile away.
I'm available if you need anything during your stay. I'm an outgoing, friendly person happy to give you tips while you're here.
I'm an outdoorsy person who loves adventure whether it's hiking in the mountains or competing in long-distance open-water swims. Bring it on nature! I wouldn't go as far as saying I'm a foodie but I'm not afraid to try anything once and enjoy messing up curries on occasion. My dog is one of my best buddies and she loves being in the water as much as I do.
