This room is great for two people, and can also be booked in conjunction with each of the other rooms through my main listing at "Hudson Valley Farmhouse". The Flower Room is on the west side of the house, is bright and sunny, and is rocking seriously large print flower wall paper. This is one of the original bedrooms of the farmhouse.
My house was originally constructed in 1796, and has been in my family since 1937. It is cozy and charming, with a broad porch on the south side great for morning coffee and evening wine. I do have two indoor cats, so please be aware if you have allergies, this may not be the listing for you. The cats are not allowed in the bedrooms once they have been cleaned and set up for guests, but they are allowed in every other space in the house.
Guests have access to most of the house, including kitchen and living room. If a door is closed, or a curtain drawn, please respect that room is not appropriate for guest access.
I live here. I work during the week, so am around in the evenings, and am generally doing farm-y chores on the weekends. I'm happy to offer recommendations to area restaurants and attractions.
Please check out my main listing, "Hudson Valley Farmhouse", for more information, and for more pictures of the house and grounds.
If you are looking to book with a family, please check out my Hudson Valley Farmhouse listing, so that you can book multiple rooms in the same reservation.
I'm originally from the Boston area. Hiker/backpacker, horseback rider, attempting to be a runner, recent yoga convert. Wine and book lover. Once-upon-a-time world traveller, architect; the kind of person who likes to live in the country and go to the city on the weekends for adventure.
I speak REALLY rusty French and German...
