This sunny and spacious room is perfect for a quiet retreat or just a place to land after a day filled with exploring Durham. Blocks from downtown and the Geer Street area, and a mile from Duke, the best parts of Durham are just outside your door.
The room is located in a second-story apartment of a brick, 1917 duplex. The 9ft ceilings, picture hanging rail, huge windows and original hardwood floors, trim and baseboards add to its historic charm while also creating a spacious, relaxing space.
You'll have access to a fully equipped kitchen, a small dining area, 1 full and 1 half bath, a huge living room and both the front and back porches. There's plenty of off street parking adjacent to the building and a huge shared backyard.
I'll be easily contactable, occasionally staying in another of the rooms.
The home is very clean and shared with one or two (depending on their travel plans) other permanent residents that are extremely respectful of others' privacy but also happy to share their knowledge of Durham and answer any questions you might have.
