I would like to inform you that i am organizing a one full day trip for visiting the Peles Castle in Sinaia, The Dracula Castle in Bran, lunch in a traditional restaurant and a short walk in the central square of Brasov.
Visit Peles Castle, once the summer residence of Romanian kings, and now home of the one of the country’s most important museums. The castle dates from the late 19th century and has 160 opulently decorated rooms. It is the final resting place for several Romanian monarchs including King Carol I who died here in 1914, as well King Ferdinand and Queen Maria.
Visit medieval Bran castle, popularly known as Dracula’s Castle. Bran Castle was built in the mid 14th century on a rock standing 60 meters high. It features 4 towers with walls made of stone blocks, and its rooms and narrow corridors form a mysterious labyrinth of ghostly nooks and secret chambers. In the inner courtyard there are artesian wells, connected to an underground network.
Stopping in Bran village you’ll have lunch in a typical restaurant (meals are not included in the price of the tour).
On our way back we will stop for a short walk in Brasov downtown, just to show you how a typical Transylvanian old city looked like and to admire the most important sites of this beautiful city: The Council Square, The Council Tower, The Black Church (view from outside), the Rope Street, etc.
The price of this tour is 150 euro/car (maximum 3 people) , 200 euro/car (4-6 people) or 255 euro/car (6-8 people) and does not includes entrance fees (30 lei/person for Peles Castle and 35 lei/person for Bran Castle) and meals, and takes about 12 hours, from 8:30 to 20:30.
