Very surprising comment from the guest, considering he left with a happy good bye message without giving the same feedback he shared here on his leave. Since 2012 I am an Airbnb member host with the same apartment and I never received a message containing such hatred and negativity. Starting with his arrival, we have exchanged messages before his arrival and as I do with all my guests I asked him to meet at the apartment or to pick him up in front of Euro Plaza Hotel which is 2 min walking distance from the apartment. I never mentioned to pick him up from Taksim. His plane was delayed and I cooperated with him and organized myself to meet him at the time he arrived. All messages he sent were replied same day without exception that can be located in Airbnb inbox and I regret to say that I only see a bad intention of him not telling what really happened. I accepted this guest as a demanding person and accommodated all his questions and demands without hesitation. During his stay, I was very cooperative on his asks. One of which was he claimed that the apartment was smelling badly and when I arrived the apartment there was no smell at all and all windows were closed and the apartment was left without fresh air. Due to very hot weather in Istanbul during his stay, there were mosquitos in everywhere of the city, which was not an apartment/street specific issue and has no relation to cleanliness. The water shut off was a one-off case that rarely happens in the region and it was due to the municipality management, and this had no relation with the apartment or street. The apartment is cleaned by a cleaning lady after every guest leaves the apartment. One thing in his comment is right that toilet paper was missing as the cleaning lady forgot to renew it. As soon as the guest informed me about that, I delivered the toilet paper. Shortly, I can hardly understand the positive behavior he showed to me during his stay and the extreme negativity and misleading information he shared here. Totally shocked and I would refer to all other comments left here for my apartment and my behaviour as a host to have a better understanding of my hospitality.
