RV CAMPING IN SOLAR ECLIPSE PATH OF TOTALITY. Beautiful, recently cut hay field for you to set up your RV in Eastern Oregon, just outside of Weiser, ID. This easily accessed field is located Olds Ferry-Ontario Highway OR-201 between Ontario, OR and Weiser, ID and is in the Solar Eclipse Path of Totality. Quiet, 30-acre field with space for self-contained campers and RV's alike. No hookups or water services available, but large pads with stunning views and a country feel.
Tent camping is available ($25/night additional), but must be associated with an RV/camper because there will be no restroom/water facilities on site. Open, hay field - very little shade available. Please be prepared with food, water, and fuel as resources may be tight in the neighboring towns. Pack in what you need and pack out what you bring.
We live nearby and will be available during your stay.
Please bring eclipse viewing glasses!
I grew up on a farm in Willowcreek, a small community outside of Vale, Oregon. Now residing in Nyssa, Oregon with my husband Chad who is the Agricultural Instructor at Nyssa High School and our chocolate lab, Roscoe. A proud University of Oregon graduate (Go Ducks!), I work in Marketing for a produce company in Eastern Oregon. Chad loves to hunt and fish. I love to ride horses, read, write, travel, cook, eat, craft, build, plan parties, write lists, try new things, spend time with my lovely family and friends, and every once in a while I don the camo and spend some time in the wild outdoors with Chad. We recently added a daughter, MacKenzie to our family and she is the best thing that ever happened... though we might be biased.
