I am living a dream with my husband, Tom. We spent our first weeks in Italy on our honeymoon and fell in love with Umbria. We resolved to live one day in this beautiful region and after many years of searching, found a vast abandoned glassworks, once the most important of the Renaissance. After faithfully renovating this into L'Antica Vetreria, a Villa and four self contained apartments, we spend our days welcoming guests from over 23 countries and helping them enjoy this beautiful, traditional Italian life in an amazing little village. We have guests who return again and again and tell their friends, the best kind of advertising! We are living life to the fullest in our "retirement" years. Moving from Seattle with our cat, Mishka, in tow has been rewarding and we have made many friends, villagers and guests alike.
