For the value, this location was hard to beat. I was very tired after a late concert in the area and this room was open for me the day before I got there.
Parking was easy-there were two driveways to choose from. The door was a little unclear. I didn't know that you could already open the metal door, so I was trying to open the lock at the other house for a good 15 min. The host's first language isn't English, and when I tried calling, they asked me to text instead. I was already very frustrated with not being able to open the (wrong) lock, and with the host not responding back as quickly as I would like (aka not answering my calls until the third time, and not coming out to help me) I was starting to dread entering the place before I got in. The entire house is for Airbnb customers, and my roommates were a little noisy with slamming doors, but that can't be helped. There were some small leaves here and there, but nothing too dirty. Boy does this place have some nice AC! The blanket providers is just thick enough to keep you at the right temperature. There's also a lamp and a closet with hangers. There was also a towel on my bed when I got there. The only complaint I have is that the house is right by a busy road (even late at night!), and if I didn't bring my noisemaker, I would have had a hard time falling asleep. Historic downtown and the train station are very close to the location. There's a farmers market there on Saturday!
