Our stone 3 bedroom home is located on a quiet street where deer love to roam. Our backyard is very private and unique, full of boulders and trees. We love sharing the Texas Hill Country with visitors. We are wine club members of several vineyards that we frequent. Wine tasting tours are available. There are many great Tx State Parks nearby that we can provide transport to. LBJ National Park is another optional day trip. We are professional ride share drivers, so we have 2 vans. Come visit!
Guests can rent one or two bedrooms. Each room has a full-size bed, bedside lamp, and closet for hanging clothes. The shared bathroom has a tub/shower combo. Since we live in this home, FYI, our sweet doodle, Skoshi, is a member pf our family. He does not shed and is hypoallergenic.
The two bedrooms and shared bathroom are on one side of house, providing privacy from our master bedroom, with living/dining/kitchen in middle section of our house. We also have a relaxing back patio with tables, lounge swing, and lounge chair that guests can enjoy.
Since this is a bed & breakfast, we live in the home. We also offer transport for wine tours. For the 4 vineyards where we are wine club members, you will be our guests for wine tastings, which typically cost $15/ person. We are members of 4 vineyards: Flatcreek, Perissos, Beck, and Flanigans which is also a distillery. We would just charge for transport. A day trip to Hwy 290 Wine Trail which has over 50 wineries to explore is also available for a transport fee. Each wine tasting is typically $15/ person. Two interesting stops are the towns of Fredericksburg and Luckenbach. There are many nearby Tx State Parks that are day trips with additional transport fee: Inks Lake, Longhorn Caverns, and Pedernales. Canyon of the Eagles is a 900 acre LCRA park with 15 miles of trails. The restaurant is excellent and perched over the Colorado River. During part of the year bald eagles winter in the canyon. There are rooms for over night stays in the lodge, with back decks overlooking the Colorado River. Several nights weekly an astronomer opens up the observatory for viewing the night skies. Another day trip is LBJ National Park, transport is provided for a fee. The town of Marble Falls has a couple of breweries, with our favorite being Save the World Brewery. Complimentary transport is provided to this brewery, which is open Fri and Sat afternoons.
