A cosy one-bedroom annex, part of an old barn conversion located on the Oxfordshire-Wiltshire border. This self-contained cottage has dedicated outdoor space with uninterrupted views across the Oxfordshire countryside.
Stay put and relax, or explore the many beautiful sites in and around the Cotswolds, including Cirencester, Marlborough, Lechlade, Bath, Oxford and Stonehenge.
The comfortable sitting room has a TV with Freeview channels and a DVD player, with a wide variety of films to watch. There is also a library with novels and non-fiction books to borrow.
The open plan kitchen is well-equipped with oven, hob, microwave, and fridge with ice-compartment.
The bedroom has a wardrobe and drawers under the king-size bed.
The bathroom has a shower or, if time is not an issue and relaxation is the order of the day, there is also a jacuzzi in the bath.
As well as the living accommodation, you will also have access to a dedicated part of the garden, with use of a barbeque.
We are situated down quiet a country lane, with only the farm house beyond. Local shops are a 5-minute drive away. The nearest supermarket is under 10-minutes' drive.
For the energetic, there are two good pubs that are a 45 minute-walk away. It's a nice walk, through fields and country lanes.
The farm at the end of the lane can deliver award-winning meat to your door. We can give you details to pre-order either in advance or when you arrive, if this is of interest.
DOGS: We welcome dogs and please ask that:
- owners clear up after them;
- if your dog moults, please provide and use a throw on the sofa ; and
- please keep your dog off the bed.
I am married to Chris and practise psychotherapy. We moved to the Cotswolds at the end of 2014, and have enjoyed using Airbnb for the past year or so.
As we travel to various fencing competitions and training camps with our 10 year old son, we decided to move from simply being an AirBnB guest to being a host as well.
