This light and airy bungalow features lots of windows, a central wooden beam, cross breezes galore, air conditioning, mid-century modern furniture, and a shared yard with friendly neighbors. It is fenced in and has a small patio with BBQ and bistro table. It is close to a grocery store, liquor store, and plenty of great bars and restaurants, but is located in a safe neighborhood with ample street parking.
This adorable guest house shares a lovely yard with a young single mother and her 6 year old son. It has an outdoor dining area, a fire pit, vintage furniture, a fruit tree, and a garden. There is also a nice private patio in the back of the house with a propane BBQ, a bistro table for 2, and an umbrella for shade.
On weekends the entire house is available but sometimes on weekdays the second bedroom will be rented to the current tenant when he is in town and you will get a $20/nt discount. Ask ahead of booking if you want the entire house, and that can be arranged.
We live in Big Bear, but will be available by phone. It is possible that if you book on a weeknight (not including Fridays), the back bedroom may be occupied and you will be sharing the bathroom with one person between 6pm and 7:30am for a $20/night discount. Ask ahead if that's a deal breaker.
There are a lot of stray cats in this neighborhood. Beware if you bring a dog or are allergic.
There are many children in the neighborhood and the block is densely populated. The yard is shared. If you leave the windows/blinds open, you will hear and sometimes see other people.
Weeknight stays (Mon-Thurs) will sometimes have a shared bathroom. If this is the case, you will receive a $20/night discount.
