Pros - Place was as she described it. - It was surprisingly spacious but with a cozy feel. - Very smooth communication. Plus she checked on me the entire time I was there. Cons I think another reviewer mentioned difficulty finding it. I arrived later in the day and couldn't initially find it. - Definitely bring a flashlight or phone flashlight. Her motion sensor lights will kick on but the neighbors don't so you're partially in the dark. - Bathtub wasn't cleaned from the previous use but she corrected that once she knew. Everything else in the apartment was clean. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
Good stay at Annalee's place. She was a very responsive host and a good communicator, very detailed and accurate directions for finding the place and checking in. There was one issue when the refrigerator/freezer stopped working but she quickly resolved it. The place is in a residential neighborhood, so plan to walk more than a mile to get to restaurants/shopping (great if you are a Fitbit fanatic like me...). Metro station was a short drive away with no significant traffic enroute to/from. Overall a convenient and pleasant stay, thanks Annalee!
This apartment is great for a few people to stay in during their travels. It looks just as it is described and worked for me as I only really needed a quiet, comfortable place to stay during the evening/night times for my trip. Annalee as a host was very communicative, and made sure to check in and ask if everything was alright; her interaction was very dependent on the amount I wanted which was great as I was very busy during my stay.
Was looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of D.C. while dropping daughter off at college. Apartment was quaint and bed was comfy after a long move in day. Be sure to read ALL of the check in instructions. It literally is behind the main apartments and you have to walk through a patch of grass.
