There are a lot of great things to say about Chelsea's place. Fitst let me say, Chelsea is a very nice young lady, new to hosting Airbnb so I want to make sure this review is honest and helpful. Pros: the house is very clean, and comfortable. Our host was very knowledgeable of the city, and friendly. Also, a pretty good location and price, even though we were charged $40 more than previously agreed. It was still all on all a good stay. Cons: the listing for the room says that there is a TV. There was not a TV when we arrived, but Chelsea was kind enough to put her a computer monitor and DVD player in the room for us. So while we were not able to enjoy any of our choice entertainment, we were given her DVDs to watch. Chelsea is an extremely interactive host. Very friendly, maybe too friendly for some. She likes to check in often and have a few nice friends that come over somewhat regularly, so being open to interacting with multiple people specifically on the weekend so you should be open to that in staying here. A few final things. There is no lock on the bedroom door with a key, while it appears safe and sound in this location, Most AirbnB locations especially that offer more than a three-night stay has a lock the bedroom door with key. As a guest it's a pretty uneasy feeling knowing someone, host included, could be coming in and out when you aren't there. And finally our last Con would be last minute notice to leave. After our first week, which was very enjoyable we decided to extend our stay. We initially discussed Renting out the room for the remainder of the month and then other future possibilities. We agreed to a set amount for a weekly rental. Weeks later, our host unexpectedly needed to go out of town for work for several days and let us know we had to leave. We had about two days to find a new location after renting this room for about 3 weeks. So are stay with Chelsea started out as a great one! We had a lot of fun conversations, got a chance to meet somewhere her friends and the home was nice and clean, however getting down to the last week and being told we had to leave unexpectedly in 2 days was really rough, put a strain on the things we had set up. Most of my Airbnb reviews have been good, and we have been using Airbnb for over a year now, this is the first time we've had an experience start out good and abruptly and leaving a sour taste in our mouths. Hopefully no one else will have this kind of experience and as this host becomes more familiar with the system she will begin to consistently have better reviews.
